2. We understand that most coaches know they plan to enter a relay team for an event, but that the specific athletes that will run, or the order they will run changes. For that reason you will NOT have to enter names for relays. You only have to note that you plan on running in the relay. If you have any questions about registering your athletes, please contact
Marilyn Hantgin.
3. Please only include on your roster athletes that will be participating in the meet. Teams are charged per athlete so do not enter extra athletes. YOU ONLY PAY FOR ATHLETES COMPETING.
4. Each team is allowed to enter 2 athletes per individual and 1 relay team per event.

ENTRY FEES:
- Large School (Div 1,2,3) - $350 – B teams allowed
- Small School (Div 4) – $200 – B teams not allowed (if you have B teams, pay the large
school price)
- 15 or fewer - $7 per person **NO refunds for scratches, including 'B' teams, after the meet entry deadline date noted above. ***Entry Fees MUST be paid before teams will be able to pick up their packets.
Check should be made payable to: SANTA BARBARA EASTER RELAYS & should be brought to the meet and delivered at the entry gate at the top of the stadium.

LATE FEE OF $40.00 WILL BE CHARGED IF THE ENTRY FEE IS RECEIVED AFTER THE DAY OF THE MEET. NO-SHOW FEE - $50.00
Critical Information (Please Read!)
- No warmup on the infield. Warmup area is in the parking lot outside the lower gate near
the clerk and at the top of the bleachers and out the gate.
- NO adds after Meet Entry Deadline!!! Please report to coaches meeting by 8:15AM SHARP nd declare any DROPS so we can get the meet seeded and started on time.
- Each team that enters pole vaulters will be given ONE field pass so that your coach can be on the infield near the pole vault in a marked box.
- In order to speed up the field events, we will have minimum markers. These distances are roughly 10% less than the qualifying mark needed to enter the meet and should be attainable by any athlete entered. Clickon Order of Events for a list of minimum marks.
- AWARDS: Medals will be awarded to the top 4 in each event (not heat or flight) in
Frosh/Soph and Varsity Divisions. Athletes will receive their medals on the awards podium at the conclusion of each event.
- DRESSING FACILITIES: Locker rooms will be available for boys and girls. Bring your own towel.
- TRAINER: A trainer will be set up on the field near the scoreboard. Please bring your own tape.
- SPIKES: Only 1/8" or 3/16" needle spike may be used on the synthetic track and runways surfaces.
- GATES: The stadium will open at 8:00 AM.... Adults: $7.00, students w/ I.D. $4.00, and Children $2.00.
- ALL BUSES should drop athletes off up at the top gate. There will be a parking assistant at the lower lot redirecting any bus that tries to unload near the lower gate. Buses will then be directed to park on the West Campus.
- C.I.F. RULES WILL APPLY: A. The uniform rules will be strictly enforced. B. The 90 seconds rule (pole vault) and 60 seconds rule will apply to all field events. C. In the field events other than the High Jump and Pole Vault, varsity athletes will
be allowed 4 jumps or throws, f/s athletes will be allowed 3 jumps or throws.
- CANOPIES & RADIOS: There is only room for canopies on the top 5 rows of the stadium.
Please do not block the view from the press box or other teams. No radios, boom boxes, etc. will be allowed into the stadium. Please leave them at home.
- SPECTATOR ENTRY FEES: Adults: $5.00, students w/ I.D. $3.00, and Children $1.00.
- PARKING: Parking will be available next to and across from the stadium. Both entrances are on Loma Alta Drive.
- Please CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF & use the garbage bags in your packets.
- HIGHLIGHTS: If you have any athletes you would like the announcer to highlight during the meet, please write their names on a separate sheet of paper with your school name, what events they are in, and their outstanding marks.
- We now have 4 X 200 exchange zones marked on the track and athletes will STAY IN THEIR LANES for the whole race.
- Remind athletes: NO FOOD or DRINK or CHAIRS on the infield....especially at pole vault.
- Only athletes CURRENTLY COMPETING, or after being called to get their medals, are allowed on the infield.
